Many ladies in image consulting are afraid of experiencing some prints in their look, despite seem to think their style, but they feel to appear fuller / out of shape ...  It is not always the case but I believe that once you understand the basics of how prints can work we all  can open  to a new world of interesting looks in complicity with the current season.

USEFUL TIPS ALWAYS BE TAKEN IN THE OUTFIT UPON WITH PRINTS:

  • At first if you want to experiment with prints, limit you to only two prints in your look!
  • More complex is the press, the better pair it with a colorful solid cloth
  • When you have to match prints and patterns it is essential to look for a common element that binds all together, that it is a common color.

As image consultant I check that most women are attracted by some elements in the clothes, not knowing that everything depends on two main elements:

- Your personal color

- Your personality, style of dress.

THE PRINTS according to the IMAGE CONSULTANT’S SEASONS:

The  "WINTER"woman  will be drawn by a geometric print

The  "SUMMER"woman  will be attracted by a floral print

The  "AUTUMN" woman will  be attracted by leopard prints or basic nature

The  "SPRING"woman will be attracted by funny  and eclectic prints

Prints and BODY SHAPE

The prints have the power to divert the attention so much that in my image consulting the prints do an important work whenever you want to put in highlights your "heritage". So if you love your breast position put the prints there and subtract your attention from less flattering points. If you are a triangle woman top or woman dresses with printed patterns that capture the attention and enrich the upper body. The inverted triangle woman must think of wearing prints in the bottom half (skirts / trousers ...). The woman circle prints that are dense and with less negative space (empty) so that the eyes will focus on the release as a single entity to make you look thinner especially in your waist area. They are also ideal to hide the details. Hourglass woman should avoid dense tissue structures and / bulky prints such as brocades and tweeds ... because they are not able to follow the curves of the  body, therefore, make you lose the sinuous forms. All rectangle woman should out the details on the  upper part, on the shoulders. This will draw the attention to your upper and not your waistline.

WITH THE PRINTS IS ALL A HARMONIOUS GAME

Remember that the larger the prints are, you need to be tall to wear it successfully. The draw must be in harmony with the overall body and   the height too .Equally true that when the eye can not includes the start and the end of a press the BODY Shape  (size and height) do not count, while for the repeat prints the shape plays an important role.

PRINTS and CONTRAST

As image consultant another detail that I have to consider in consulting is the contrast of the prints, which we can divide into two types:

CONTRAST LOW, when two colors look like that is two dark colors or two light colors together,

Women "SUMMER" and "AUTUMN" are for medium / low contrast prints.

HIGH CONTRAST, a dark color paired with a bright color.

Women "WINTER" and "SPRING" are often for high-contrast prints.

DENSE or RARE PRINTS

If your eye can easily focus on individual elements of a press it is facing a rare press. If your eye wanders and does not focus on the press it is more dense (there is less negative space in printing). Dense  prints are more slimming since they keep the movement of the eyes, while the scattered prints create focal points. Scattered prints have placed the distant elements, these are the prints that fatten. The slimming prints have one thing in common - they are dense - there is little space between the printing elements or the model.
